Fitzgibbon Champions set up Semi-final showdown with UCC

Irish Daily Mail Fitzgibbon Cup holders UL will take on 2012 Centenary Hosts UCC in this year's Semi-finals after winning at IT Carlow on Wednesday evening. 


"It'll be an exciting semi-final in the Mardyke", declared Ger Cunningham after his team's hard-earned victory. "I don't think UCC have ever lost a Fitzgibbon game where they have been hosts.. and hopefully we won't be handing over the cup too easily". 

UL have been made favourites to retain the trophy but Cunningham gives UCC the favourites tag after their defeat of UCD in the Quarter-finals and their League Final win over UL.
